I wrote a thing! Well, a bit more than a thing. See, for my sociology paper, the topic is to write on power. Now, I had a bit of trouble thinking about what exactly I wanted to write on. The school system, I thought to myself, that would make a good topic. But then I got honked at on my way home from school today and then it came to me that societal expectations for women and how it affected me would be a good one. I only meant to jot down the first two paragraphs tonight, for I have another paper due... today, yikes, but it all kind of came out in a rush. No, I won't be handing this in, but I'll likely be looking at this and stealing bits and pieces of it for my final paper at some point.

Ugh, I hope it doesn't sound overdramatic. It's midnight! Everything is dramatic! AND UNEDITED. XD

Transit scribbles ahoy! The bus ride is long, and I tend to spend much of it writing idly on my notebook, in part because I lack the time to write at home and in part because it's relaxing. I am kind of a flyfag and I want a fic with Dan flying (he studied aeronautics so he must have a thing for flying). You can have Dan getting high on the adrenaline and speed, and as for what he's flying he can be either in Archie or on a jet or any other aerial vehicle of your choice... And if you want to make it more crazy have him be dogfighting someone or going after a Soviet missile or whatever.

I just want Dan flying and loving it! As for the plot what happens and everything else it's up to you (but you do get bonus points if he crashes).

So, I'm finally going on my trip today! I'm ridiculously excited, but also a bit nervous too--this will be my first time going anywhere other than the States, so it's probably going to be a bit of a culture shock. Even better, I'm excited to go with Ali and Jordyn so maybe we can finally reconnect, 'cos as it is, this'll either make it or break it!
